Stakeholders

Active and sustainable engagement with key-stakeholders at an early stage is critical for Plastics2Olefins to create impact. All relevant stakeholder groups, from local up to international level, and all along the value chain of the plastics and recycling life cycle shall have access to the project and its results to increase awareness and ensure a swift uptake of the process in industry.

As the societal awareness of the need to change our lifestyle towards more sustainability is rising, governments and industry are changing their policies and business models. Making them aware of the project and its results will increase the dynamics of the implementation of the technology beyond the demonstration plant and first installations by the project partners.

The Stakeholder Advisory Board (SAB) is a key element of the co-development process within Plastics2Olefins. It will officially be formed at the beginning of the project and will be carefully selected to represent stakeholder in all chain valued from raw material collection and pre-treatment with ERFO as association of European SRF producers, chemical plastic producers represented by the association Plastics Europe and relevant final customers (Armando Alvarez Group in polyolefins value chain and Inditex group in textiles value chain). The SAB members will form the nucleus of the future Plastics2Olefins stakeholder community. It will be the binding link between the stakeholder groups across the Plastics2Olefins value chain and help connecting the consortium to larger networks.
